I have lived in the Verde Valley for the last thirty-eight years, excluding an eight months stint in Colorado. I have been teaching for twenty years and hold two Master's degrees in education and am a certified Reading Specialist. I also have a certificate in English as a Second Language and have an Early Childhood Endorsement. I have taught kindergarten through eighth grades in either a classroom setting or in intervention groups. I have a plethora of training and experiences in reading instruction, intervention and teaching English Language Learners.

I am a mother of three wonderful children. I have a 22 year old daughter who is married to a local fireman. They had their first child in June, so I have my first grandchild :) I also have a 20 year old son who is serving in the Air Force. He is in the Security Forces. My youngest is a 15 year old daughter who attends Camp Verde High School. She is involved in many of the sports.
