here at Saint Joseph's school. Sharon obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary
Education from Grand Canyon University in 1991, and then earned a Master's
Degree in Educational Leadership through Northern Arizona University in 1995.
Sharon taught fifth grade at Arrowhead Elementary School in Glendale, Arizona
from 1991 - 1994. She then moved to Cottonwood after she became engaged to
marry her husband, Rob Green. Sharon taught fifth grade at Oak Creek School
in Cornville, Arizona, for the next three years, until she became pregnant
with her first son.
Raising two boys became Rob and Sharon's top priority for the next ten years.
It wasn't until August of 2007 that Sharon returned to the classroom. She
taught a 4-6th grade combination class here at Saint Joseph's school. She
taught reading, language, math and spelling in a half-time position. Sharon
returned in the spring semester of 2009 half-time again, teaching history,
P.E., music and art to students in grades 1-7.
The main purpose in Sharon's life is to serve her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is accomplishing this by using the gifts that God has given her to enhance
the lives of her students. God has a special calling for each child that he
brings to earth. Sharon works to prepare each student for their future. It
is her desire that they become successful in their careers and in their Christian
service to their families, their communities and to the world around them.
